When you pulled on the ropes, the mattress tightened,

It was the accepted
practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply
his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink.
Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month,
which we know today as the honeymoon. ------------

In English pubs, ale
is ordered by pints and quarts... So in old England , when
customers got unruly, the bartender would yell at them 'Mind your pints and quarts, and settle down.' . . .

Many years ago in
England , pub frequenters had a whistle baked

Spider Plants Grow So Good In Johor Bahru Malaysia.

If it's one Plant I would recommend people that are starting out to grow is the Spider plant, they are so easy and very tolerant.

The ones i have been growing are great because i spray them every night and morning and it encourages them to send out shoots that grow the babies on - Then if you want you just pick them off place on top of soil water and you have another plant.

OR as I do now, I let them grow longer and hang down off the plant - the babies grow and it looks so good.

AtoZ of Blogging - What's it all about?

Aprils A to Z of Blogging 2012,

Blogging from A to Z Challenge is all about us--you and me and everyone one else who will be putting forth the April effort and who has already been putting forth the effort to make the April Challenge a big success.  The Challenge is many things and many people

The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, the A to Z Challenges to post the letter of the alphabet every day during the month of April, with Sundays off for good behavior. Since April 1 falls on a Sunday, that will be the day we start with A. Whether you go with a theme or freestyle, your post must match the letter of the alphabet for that day. Add your name to the list, grab the badge in the right sidebar, and when the Challenge begins, start by visiting the blog immediately after your own. Set a goal – we recommend five blogs a day, more if you are able.

A TO Z 2012 CHALLENGE [LETTER SCHEDULE]

This is only a suggestion, of course a lot will depend on how you are feeling on the day and how busy your schedule will be, but one thing for sure it should be interesting to read what other people come up with.

I shall start today and compile my list subjects and do research for the blog entry for that days letter.

Well Join in and have fun - we are counting down the days to April 1st. It's still not too late to sign up! here

1/2 Hour Rain Causes Floods in Johor Bahru

video
This is the area in Wadihana that flooded after continuous rains for over 1/2 hour.

The next video taken with binoculars held in front of iphone. but shows close up of river banks overflowing into the kampung houses, such a shame to see this happening.

I first noticed it all when the power went out in the lightning storm, then it came on again only for the build to be struck with such power as it shook and the power went off again. (I was lucky really i had my tv and computer running at the time) so I turned off the computer and tv just in case they get fried in the process of the lightning storm.

And it was looking out at the lightning I notice the floods below.
