Girl Eaten by Pavement - Taxi Driver to the Rescue

When I first came to JB I thought the pavements were bad, as people had stolen the drain covers, but at least you could see the hole, this poor girl must have been in shock after this. nice taxi driver was quick to her rescue.

And the taxi drivers I know in Johor Bahru would also do the same.

V = “Village Of Casuarinas” or palms. Desaru

V = Village Of Casuarinas” or Palms

A Malay word "Desa" which means village and “Ru” is the local name for Casuarinas

Desaru in Johor has a stretch of about 25KM of white, sandy beach and lush tropical greenery and kisses the waters of the south China Seas.

I have been lots of time here, and mainly head for the Lotus Resort Hotel, then spend some time in the beach bar area(drinking coffee of course lol), then head in for some lunch in their cafe by the pool, before we head next door to the Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa with its lagoon type pools and hammocks on the beach to laze a bit more before having slap up meal in their fantastic restaurant.

It's great place for family vacations as it offers a variety of activities for the whole family including canoeing, horse riding, jungle trekking, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, carting, golfing and windsurfing.

Also the new highway into Desaru is open and from JB its now only about 45mins to be beside the sea sipping cocktails.
